SCHOOL COUNCIL
School Council
Carlton's School Council consists of 22 children, 11 boys and 11 girls (two children from each of the eleven classes).The council an elected Chair person, Vice Chair person, treasurer and a Secretary. Meetings of the School Council are held once a month. At these meetings the children discuss issues that effect them during school. The Council have already had 'buddy benches' erected in the playground, had the children's toilets painted and improved the playground equipment. The high light of the school council year is organising the annual Summer Fayre which is totally run by the councillors. The money raised is used to develop things in school and buy things that the children want. Carlton's School Council has established a link with the local 'Sheltered Housing' complex for the elderly.
